Dr. Mike Epworth crafts exquisite, handmade chairs inspired by Jimmy Possum, a chairmaker from Northern Tasmania who was active in the late 1800s.

The course cost is $1450, for 3days tuition, participants take home a Jimmy Possum chair.

A $300 deposit is required to secure your spot.

 

Our Stool making workshops use the same heritage hand skills and are perfect for novice woodworkers.

Maximin class size of 4 participants.

The 1day, 5 hour workshop will provide you with the fundamental hand skills and knowledge to create many more for family and friends.
