Dr. Mike Epworth crafts exquisite, handmade chairs inspired by Jimmy Possum, a chairmaker from Northern Tasmania who was active in the late 1800s.

Our handmade, Stool workshops are an immersive experience gives participants the chance to craft your own timber stool using traditional techniques, which focus on vernacular furniture and heritage trades.

Ideal for educators and trainers seeking professional development, as well as anyone interested in heritage crafts.

Stool making workshops use the same heritage hand skills and are perfect for novice woodworkers.

Maximin class size of 4 participants.

The 1day, 5 hour workshop will provide you with the fundamental hand skills and knowledge to create many more for family and friends.
